Raul's Mexican Grill

The food was amazing. I got the fish tacos, which were delicious and very flavorful, especially compared to the fish tacos you get at many other places. The only downside was that the side salad came absolutely drenched in a very sweet dressing. So I would recommend to ask for dressing on the side. Furthermore the service was eh. We did not receive plates with our appetizer nor were we told about the specials, and our waiter was hard to find when we needed things. But overall it was a great experience.

Raul's is a solid place to eat, cuisine than TexMex. Service is decent to great. Menu does not vary much. In my opinion has lost some of the personal touch & feel over the last few years and also, in my opinion they should open up the second dining room - perhaps by removing some portion of the wall - as, while quieter, it has no atmosphere.

Great Mexican selections with good portions. Many Mexican places load you up with large servings and extra fat. Raul's keeps things in check, and the flavors are something to write home about.

Very good food. Everything came out fast and the staff was very friendly. Definitely will be returning.

We had a great time and dinner at Raul's. They have a nice selection of mixed drinks, and what might have been the largest basket of chips and the most amount of guac I've ever gotten for an appetizer. Food was great too, we unfortunately didn't save enough room for dessert. Their hard shell tacos were particularly tasty.

Changing my review from five to four. I've been here twice and had great food both times but a completely different service experience - even with the same waitress each time. The first time, we were served super quick. The second time, we waited close to an hour and a half for our food. I was pregnant and we weren't even drinking - just sitting there! They were busy but not *that* busy. It also happened to be my birthday so this was an extra bummer. We decided to give them five minutes to get to the table or we were walking out, which I've never done before in my life. The food came exactly three minutes later so we stayed.I'll probably give them another chance but it's pretty clear you can expect a very wide variation in the service depending on the night.

Had a girls day! Went to get our tattoos at unique arts studio and Josh recommend Raul’s. Definitely was a good recommendation. Will be visiting again. Great food and great service.

Consistent food and wait staff attentive the night we were in but only a few tables filled. Sangria was very sweet, and Mexican beer was good.We started with chips and salsa, very good choice. They offer four options My son reported his steak taco was cooked to perfection! The veggies looked and tasted very fresh. My quesadilla was yummy and the wrap had a slight crisp to the edge, delicious! I have been here previously and found it to be very loud on this evening only one or two other table when we arrived. They do not accept reservations unless you are a party of 6 or more. Limits when I might go to avoid a wait or nights I am headed to the Wood I like to go someplace where we can get in and out.

Amazing place. Great food!! Great place for Vegetarian's and Vegan's. Our server Caitilin B was amazing. Her recommendations were on point. Will be back here for sure when in Lake George again.

The best I’ve had in the area! While I’ve had (slightly) better experiences around the country, I still love me some Raul’s! I’ve been here many times and have never walked away disappointed. Definitely worth your time to stop in and check them out.

The guacamole! The salsa! The chips! Don't worry...you don't have to decide! You can have it all. Delicious food. A great place to get lost for a while with great friends, food and drinks!

Great place for a meal! The food was excellent! The prices were reasonable! And the atmosphere was very nice! I would highly recommend this place for an overall wonderful experience!

The food is good. Service lacked a little bit. We waited to be seated for a solid 5 minutes before someone came out of the back and greeted us. After that, things got better though.

We stopped in on a Saturday evening for dinner. The chips, guacamole and salsa were delivered to the table quickly and all tasted great. The chips were pretty addicting! Our server was otherwise fairly non-attentive and didn't refresh our beverages until we asked.My dining mates had tacos and burritos that they really enjoyed. Our I had the chicken mole entree. The portion was fairly large, but it wasn't the typical mole flavor I've had in other Mexican restaurants. This was more tomato/red than the rich brown, deeply flavored sauce with a hint of chocolate. It was also not as thick as other moles I've had. I would go back, but would try something else on the menu.

We stumbled across this GEM of a restaurant and GEM of a town on a long drive home and could not stop talking about how amazing it was - to start, the staff was unbelievably friendly, helpful and welcoming. Everything from the drinks to the salsa was FRESH, DELICIOUS and MEMORABLE. Even the taco shells seem to have been homemade with clean, fresh flavors jumping out. We cannot wait to go back here on our next journey up north!

Great food. Great service

This is the most delicious Salmon tocos I have ever had in my life, mouth watering deliciousness, everything we’ve ever had there is beyond delicious 😋 You know when you bite into something and your tastebuds just go yum this is gourmet goodness. A tiny bit expensive but well worth every penny no doubt. If I had the money I would eat there every day. You will be so thankful you tried it out.

Lunch was good. Burritos and fish tacos good as usual.Tried something new today...dessert.Churros were way over cooked, the “chef” should be embarrassed to send those out. The Apple burrito was good.

The food was excellent. At first they said there is no space and it would be a long wait and, that for 6 or more we needed a reservation but they ended up giving us someones table and we had no regrets. The waitress was also very nice and attentive. We loved it but remember to make a reservation just in case.
